Robot Cockroach, as good as real

At least as far natural cockroaches are concerned, who accept Insbot as one of theirs.
Thanks to pheromones and a programmed roachy behaviour of the contraption created at Free University in Brussels, it is not only integrated in the roach crowd - by exploiting the group behaviour of those animals, the real cockroaches can be influenced by the artificial ones, for example to take a stroll out in the light!

Video-Link.

The researchers plan to work on sheep and chicken next: "Chickens are a good example of a mixture of collective intelligence and leadership," says Jean-Louis Deneubourg.

Reminds me a bit of how "they" program/persuade us with TV-commercials and other role-model based indoctrination.
