Just in time ...

... for the strenuous ROBOEXOTICA season, comes along this robotic innovation.
An exo-skelton type device that is designed "to help the user walk, crouch and stand without excessive stress on the hips, knees and ankles."
I just wish the technology was already built into pants and I was lucky enough to get a pair of prototypes to review!
The Honda robo legs run on two motors and weigh less than 15 pounds. "The lithium-ion battery is good for two hours of crouching or walking — an interval that matches up nicely with break times."

Sadly I cannot expect to benefit from this device anytime soon - presently it is being tested by Honda assembly line workers.
Maybe I should be renting a HAL then?
