Starting September 13th a series of open workshops will be held at metalab, Vienna.
It's not known yet who actually will bring their cocktailrobot to work on it before showing it at ROBOEXOTICA 2006 (dec. 5th-9th), but those tinker-tank afternoons/evenings are also supposed to be a place of exchange for technical approaches and solutions - for people involved in ROBOEXOTICA as well as folks who are not yet building cocktailrobots.
Metalab, who have just recently opened their location in downtown Vienna, seems like an optimal space for this kind of meetings, as they are a dedicated bunch of tech-enthusiasts and hackers, who see their space as an open meeting-place for the like-minded.
